Do you like being outside? Do you enjoy working with children in an outdoor setting? Do you enjoy fishing, kayaking, and hiking? Then our Nature Education Internship is for you!

Outdoor Nature Education Intern is an unpaid internship with the City of Mansfield - Oliver Nature Park. The Outdoor Nature Education Intern reports directly to the Nature Education Supervisor and will work at various parks within Mansfield.

The applicant’s responsibilities will include assisting with:

·        Nature education field trips

·        Home School

·        Intro to Fishing

·        Nature Walks

·        Little Naturalist

·        Kayaking tours

·        Booths at events to promote Oliver Nature Park

·        and other tasks as assigned

Work hours and days will vary depending on the week with 20 – 30 hours per week. This internship will take place September 4, 2018 - December 21, 2018.

We do take applications for internship all year long and offer internships each semester.
