About this role:
Spring / Summer Internship to support the Master Data Management Metrics and Reporting Initiative through the creation of Dashboards and other visualizations.
What you’ll do:
- Build queries that would allow us to perform health checks and identify gaps/areas for improvement.
- Work with various internal business groups to customize and design reports using Microsoft Power BI and other BI Visualization tools
- Provide insight by transforming large sets of data into simplified, meaningful, and actionable trends and visualizations for use by executives, operations, finance, marketing, and other internal departments
- Collaborate with other business units to see how the MDM team can help them achieve their mission-critical priorities
- Measure the impact of MDM initiatives to inform changes/additions to the roadmap
- Independent decision making, as well as collaborative problem solving are both critical for this role
- Support the Master Data Management roadmap
What you’ll need:
- Currently enrolled seeking a bachelor’s degree required, minimum junior standing in a degree related to Master Data Management preferred
- Strong desire to analyze data.
- Strong analytical and pattern recognition skills.
- Experience with and knowledge of Microsoft applications, proficient in Excel, or Power BI
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer focus and relationship building skills.
- Proficiency in SQL preferred
- Ability to devote 40 hrs per week during the day during summer.
